One Woman Central is a nonprofit organization dedicated to leadership, development and accurate representation of women. Central to our mission is supporting women of color and creating a sustainable pipeline of women leaders in high demand roles.

A year long program for High School students-One Woman Central Young Women’s Leadership Order (YWLO)
This program will annually develop a group of young women in grades 11 and 12, through workshops; simulations; college path planning; talent and skills assessment; public speaking; life skills development; professional marketing; apprenticeship; pro-match and service learning.
The outcomes for participants: introduction to industries and careers particularly in politics, construction, design, automotive, engineering, executive management, media and healthcare; production of a project portfolio; engagement with a long-term mentor; internship opportunities; community service fulfillment; academic and creative enrichment; college success and competitive scholarship opportunity.
Using a model based on four I’s-Identity, Institution, Intelligence and Intuition-the young women will gain necessary tools to create individual pathways to personal goal-attainment and overturn entrenched structural inequalities.
