This site is dedicated to all the fierce women leaders-the trailblazers and those that dare to blaze the trail. Not only the faces from popular media but women across the globe and throughout history that carved out spaces in a revolutionary manner, whether quietly or in the public domain. As we continue the journey to find out what works for women in leadership roles; how women attain leadership; how women maintain leadership; what qualities women in leadership share; what types of power they use-we want to share it here.
We are especially interested in women leaders of color. In an effort to democratize and liberate leadership knowledge from a white-male center, we want to capture information drawn from women normally overshadowed in academic and consumer institutions. Our hope is to expand global scholarship, narratives and representation of women.
